[Method of construction of waterproofing agent + reinforcing fabric on concrete]

[Construction Method]

1. Construction step : ① The top of railing → ② railing wall → ③ floor

2. Preparations before construction

   1) Clean surface (Remove Oil, moisture, foreign substance and laitance)

   2) Need to remove the new building's laitance
       ① Laitance is suspended solids that are produced on concrete surfaces, and if not removed, the waterproofing agent  will not penetrate and

            may be separated like a linoleum. 

      ② Way : Grind the surface 1 ~ 2mm or remove foreign substances and laitance from the surface with an iron brush. 

   3) Puddle of water or dented place
      ① Mix TanTan OneTan Waterproofing Agent(1): Water(1) ratio, apply once and dry. 

           (Drying time : 30 minute ~ 1 hours ,based on 25℃, humidity below 60%)

      ② Mix TanTan OneTan Waterproofing Agent(1): Water(2): Remitar(±7) or 

           TanTan OneTan Waterproofing Agent(1): Water(1): Wet Sand(8): Cement(2) ratio.

           Fill it up for the height and dry it completely. It is important to dry completely when plaster.

           (Drying time : more than 72 hours, Based on thickness of 5mm , temperature of 25°C, humidity below 60%, 

                                      If it is more than 5mm thickness, it takes longer to dry.)

      ③ Plow the ground of the puddle around the drain with a grinder to facilitate drainage.

   4) An uneven surface
      ① Plow the ground with grinder. 

           (If you rub in a circle with a cement brick when there is no tool, the surface bumps are removed.)

      ② If the ground that is caved in is extensive and needs to be repaired as a whole, when plaster with TanTan plaster Tan[ST-38], 

           it will not lift or fall off even if it is thin.

           (The general plaster is often separated, lifted, and broken from the background.)

   5) Where the concrete cracked
      ① On the floor Crack, inject TanTan Crack Waterproofing Bond(C-5) until filled up the crack.

      ② Wall crack

          A) Fill up with TanTan Waterproofing Cream(C-75)

          B) Using a TanTan OneTan Waterproofing Agent and Reinforcing fabric, construct and dry it in the order of 

               “Apply waterproofing agent → spread reinforcing fabric → and apply waterproof agent.” 

    6) Be careful when you walk on the floor that applied waterproofing agent during construction because the background may be 

          separated if the waterproofing agent is on the bottom of the shoes.

          (You can wear clean shoes, wrap shoes with reinforcement fabric or work with additional shoes or socks.)

3. Waterproofing agent apply

   1) Top of railing, corner construction
       ① Apply a undiluted solution of waterproofing agent to the surface, spread out reinforcing fabric and apply waterproof agent.

   2) Rail wall construction
       ① Mix TanTan One Tan waterproofing agent(2) : water(1) ratio, apply a waterproof agent on the wall, spread out  the reinforcing fabric and apply again. 

               (When mix with water, stir well for 5 minutes)

   3) Floor construction
       ① Spread out a line of reinforcing fabric on the floor.
           A) Start from the inside on the other side of the doorway.
           B) It's convenient to apply a line of waterproof agent at the beginning of the floor, attach the reinforcement and spread out.

​       ② Mix TanTan One Tan waterproofing agent(2) : water(1) ratio, apply it on the reinforcing fabric. 

           (When mix with water, stir well for 5 minutes.)

              A) Apply the middle part first so that the waterproof agent is fully permeated into the reinforcing fabric and is attached to the surface 

                      without bubbles, and push it slowly on both sides. 

                     (A weak attachment or air bubbles can cause lifting or swelling and increase the consumption of waterproofing agent.)

       ③ When spread out 2nd reinforcing fabric, overlap 5cm on previous reinforcing fabric.

​       ④ Apply a mixture waterproofing agent of ② on the reinforcing fabric.

       ⑤ Construct sequentially in the same way.
       ⑥ Dry completely after reinforcing fabric construction. (Drying time : 5~6 hours, temperature of 25°C, humidity below 60%)

    4) Mix 10% of water or use undiluted solution of TanTan OneTan Waterproofing Agent[ST-01] and apply more than 2times. 

           (1st apply, re-apply after drying) Complete after curing (5hours).

[Caution for construct floor]

​
    1) Work and cure at above 5°C. ( It is difficult to form a waterproof layer if it goes sub-zero temperature before drying)

    2) After applying the waterproofing agent, consider the drying time. (If it’s sub-zero temperature , it freezes and cannot be used.)

    3) Refer to the weather forecast as it may be washed out if it rains before drying after work.

[Storage method]

​
Considering the area to be applied, pour the amount to be used in a separate bowl and store it at cool room temperature. 

By covering the original product well to prevent foreign substances from entering. 

Store it so that it does not freeze in winter. (If you hammer the lid, it will be re-sealed.)
